I had so many favorite parts from Allison and Chris’s brunch wedding on September 28th.

Lets start with their location, the beautiful Terrace Club in Dripping Springs.  I always love shooting in my home town of Dripping Springs and though I have attended events at the Terrace Club, this was the first time I had the honor of photographing a wedding there!

The venue combined with Allison and Chris’s home made table pieces, painted mason jars with photos of the couple and also framed photos of themselves as children, gave their reception a classy but personal and relaxed atmosphere.

I love that all of the brides maids wore boots and instead of having bouquets, they each had a single sunflower. So simple and elegant with a touch of country chic.

The bride’s bouquet was also very special. It was made by one of the bride’s maids and included several photos attached to it of family members who have passed away.

Another one of my top favorite things about Allison and Chris’s wedding was their very special boutonnieres that were Lego Super Heros! They went great with their Lego cake topper and their Xbox cake made by Sweet Treets Bakery. The Groom was Captain America but I have to say my favorite figure was the Bride’s Wonder Woman that she wore on her garter!

In the end though, hands down my favorite part of Allison and Chris’s wedding was their incredibly sweet first dance to Big and Rich’s “Lost in this Moment.” They spent the entire dance singing the song to each other and it was so obvious that they really were just lost in the moment.
