Mr. & Mrs. Smith’s Post Wedding Formals

Not all bridal portraits have to be done before the wedding. I have many brides that choose to do their bridal session AFTER their wedding. And there are a few perks. You get a chance to try out a new venue, you don’t have to be quite as careful with your dress, and you can include your husband!

I had so much fun at this couple’s wedding in October (See wedding sneak peek here) and I loved getting the chance to work with them again!

They chose to do their posted wedding formal portraits at an amazing historic house in downtown Austin, Chateau Bellevue.

I could not have been more blown away by this venue that was basically a mansion! I knew it was going to be an amazing session when it started in the bathroom because the stain-glass windows were so beautiful! We were there for 2 hours and we didn’t even get to all over the amazing rooms and alcoves.  I could have easily spent all day with them there!

And the antique decor of the house matched the vintage style Caitlin’s Jenny Packham from Blush Bridal perfectly!

Narrowing down my favorites was hard and I could have easily shared the entire gallery but here are some of my absolute favorite from this great session….
