Q. What is your shooting style?
A. Journalistic and Artistic.
Q. How long does it take to view the photos?
A. For personal shoots, a week or less. For weddings and events, 4-6 weeks.
Q. How do I view the photos?
A. When you're photos are ready for viewing Simone will provide you with a user name and password to log in and view your photos. You can share this log in info with family and friends if they will also be ordering or helping you order prints.
Q. Do I get the copy rights to the photos?
A. You get partial rights to make personal prints but if displaying the the general public you must buy the rights. This does not include your myspace/facebook/photo sharing web sites. This does include magazines, news papers, billboards, etc.
Q. What is the extra cost for things such as black and white, sepia, and colorized?
A. Black and White and Sepia photos are free as long as you tell Simone which photos you want done BEFORE your CD is made and sent. After the CD is made it is $10 for the first photo and $2 for each additional photo.
The price for colorized photos (where one thing is color and the rest is black and white) depends on the photo and the extent of the work that it will take. Usually between $20-$40.
There will be examples of all of these included with your package, you will only pay the additional cost if adding to the photos you want done in these editing styles.
Q. What do you wear to the shoot/wedding?
A. Unless other wise requested, Simone will wear black slacks and a white or black shirt to weddings and events. Personal shoots are more casual and therefore done in jeans.
Q. Do you make your own prints?
A. No, the photos are taken to a professional grade lab.
Q. Do you shoot alone or with an assistant?
A. Most personal shoot will have an assistant. 2nd shooters are also available for weddings and events upon request.
Q. How long have you been a professional photographer?
A. 5 years (Since 2005) And weddings for 3 years (Since 2007)
Q. On the weekend of our wedding will you shoot any other weddings or events?
A. No. When you book your wedding I dedicate that entire weekend to you and your wedding so there is no chance of any conflicts.
Q. What kind of camera do you use? Digital or Film?
A. I use a Nikon D50 which is a high quality digital SLR.
Q. Do you offer in studio portraits or are they all on location?
A. Yes, you have the option of in studio portraits or on location portraits.
Q. Are there any over time fees?
A. Yes. Personal shoots have an overtime fee of $30/hr. Weddings and events have an over time fee of $50/hr.
Q. Will there be backup equipment available? And what happens if you are ill or can not make it because of an emergency?
A. Yes, Simone always brings back up battery, lens, etc. In the case of an emergency Simone will find you a replacement photographer. (This has never been a problem in the past)
Q. Can other people take photos while you are taking photos?
A. This is mostly your preference as to if you want tons of cameras going off. If you chose to let others take photos however they must yield to Simone as she is the professional.
Q. How many photos come on the CD?
A. There are no set number of photos. For a personal shoot it is normally between 50-100 or more. For weddings and events the minimum is usually around 300-400.
Q. Is there any sort of insurance on the photos if something happens to them?
A. Yes. If anything is to happen to the photos you will be refunded based on the percentage that is lost. (This has never been a problem in the past)
Q. Can I give you a list of shots that I want?
A. Yes. However I've found that most of the time people's lists consist of things I normally shoot anyway, but if there is something that you think is out of the ordinary that you want, please don't hesitate to tell me.
Q. How are payments made?
A. In 1 of 3 ways. By mailing cash or check. Through paypal with debit/credit card. In person. Please indicate to Simone which method you prefer.
